Christian Bale – Spectacular return

He can transform into many different roles, from psychopath to action hero, all of his roles are highly appreciated by critics and movie fans.

However, glory came too early and receiving constant attention from the public made young Christian Bale become shy and miss many opportunities to receive big roles.

Christian Bale continued to `hide` throughout the 90s, only appearing briefly with a few small films such as Newsies (1992) or better yet, Little Women (1994) starring with famous actress Winona Ryder.

It was not until early 2000 that Christian Bale officially attracted the attention of movie lovers around the world when he surpassed Leonardo Di Caprio and won the main role in the movie American Psycho.

And this is also the key turning point that brought Christian Bale back and became a top name in Hollywood.

In 2005, Christian Bale received an invitation from director Christopher Nolan to play the role of Batman in the movie Batman Begins.

Christian Bale continued to collaborate with director Christopher Nolan on a series of popular and highly artistic film projects such as The Prestige, and the film 3:10 to Yuma before he continued to wear the Bat shirt.

But then, Christian Bale failed again.

With The Fighter, Christian Bale once again had to lose up to 20kg to play the role of Dicky Eklund, an addict.

Christian Bale burst into tears after winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2011 Oscars. `I didn’t think I would win this award,` Bale said emotionally, `I send my best wishes.`
