With a long history dating back to the 9th century, Castello Banfi is a family-owned winery in Montalcino, Tuscany.
Born in Brusciano, a province of Naples, Italy, chef Sposito began working in restaurants at the age of 16 before he studied at the Istituto Alberghiero culinary school in Cicciano.
`At Banfi, I continue to learn and create many delicious dishes, pursuing my culinary passion towards simplicity and sophistication in the ultimate culinary art,` chef Sposito shared.

‘Cacciucco’ Livornese Salad (Lobster salad, tuna tartare, crayfish, crab, black olives and capers).
Ribollita (Traditional Tuscan vegetable soup, Finocchio ham, toast).
Pappardelle Cinghiale (Large flat pasta served with braised wild boar, truffle and Pecorino Toscano cheese).
