3 ways to whiten skin at home with simple beauty recipes

ELLE introduces simple and effective ways to whiten skin at home from ingredients that can be found in your kitchen:

1. Aloe leaf (aloe vera)

Aloe vera is a very popular remedy for freckles

Aloe vera contains many nutrients and minerals such as calcium, sodium, zinc… and vitamins B1, C, A, E necessary for beautiful and healthy skin.

There are many different skin whitening methods using aloe vera, the following are the most effective methods used by many people:

Doing:

– Aloe vera – honey mixture: Peel aloe vera, chop finely and boil with water.

– Mixture of aloe vera and lemon juice: Take aloe vera gel and mix it with a few drops of lemon juice.

Note:  Before using aloe vera, you need to know how to choose leaves with small, light green sheaths.

Before using, peel off the green skin and wash off the plastic layer on the aloe vera.

When applying to the skin, only apply a thin layer on the first day to one area of the skin and observe whether the skin is irritated or not.

2. Yogurt

Yogurt is a very good food for digestion

Fermented yogurt is also one of the most popular ingredients in women’s home beauty routine.

Doing:

–  Yogurt mask makes skin bright and smooth: Just use a box of yogurt and apply evenly on your face for about 10-15 minutes then wash your face thoroughly.

–  Mixture of yogurt, lemon and egg white: After separating the yolk, beat the egg white, then squeeze in the lemon and continue beating.

– Whiten and treat acne with yogurt, honey and turmeric mask: Add honey, turmeric powder, yogurt and stir well until it becomes a smooth mixture.

Note:  If yogurt is kept in the refrigerator, take it out of the refrigerator 3 minutes before use to cool the yogurt.

3. Potatoes

Potatoes bring smooth, shiny skin and significantly reduce facial wrinkles

Potatoes are a very familiar food in daily nutritious dishes at family meals.

Doing:

– Sliced potatoes: Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices then apply all over the face for about 10-15 minutes.

– Potato juice: Peel, wash and squeeze the juice.

– Potato mask with unsweetened fresh milk: Peel and wash the potatoes, then boil the potatoes and mash until smooth.
